Under 11’s ISA SW Football
Today our Under 11’s have been to Cornwall to take part in the Under 11’s tournament at St Joseph’s School. They had a great time and competed well against the six other schools.

Wet Play

Prep 2 Addition
Today in Prep 2 we have been investigating addition – using up to 5 single digit numbers to create totals. It has been lots of fun!
Anglo Saxon Clothes
This week Prep 3 are learning all about Anglo Saxons and the clothing they wore. The children have discovered that natural resources were used to dye their clothes. This afternoon Prep 3 have been using natural resources (red cabbage & turmeric) to practice dyeing t-shirts!
ISA Regional Cross Country
This Wednesday St Christopher’s School took part in the Independent Schools Association regional cross country. We are pleased to say 7 of our children have qualified for the National finals in Worksop. The staff are incredibly proud of all the children who took part and we look forward to supporting them in the finals.
Chinese New Year
This week in Nursery the children have been learning all about the Chinese New Year. I think you will agree they have produced some beautiful art work to celebrate the year of the Rat.
French Sandwich
This afternoon Prep 2 have been enjoying their French Sandwich, the name they have given their Friday afternoon as they have RS, French then RS!!! This week they have enjoyed learning all about animals.
South West U11 ISA Netball Tournament
On Wednesday girls from Prep 6, 5, and 4 joined together to compete in the South West ISA U11 netball tournament. Opposition was strong but the girls managed to get two wins and improved their defensive performances through the day. The girls showed great resilience against some strong players and very importantly showed excellent sportsmanship…
Prep Reception Farm Shop Painting
This afternoon Prep Reception have had fun painting the farm shop back drop for their roll play corner. They all had great fun mixing up the colours and painting themselves and the back drop!
