Rainbow Theatre came to the School on the last day of term and performed the Easter Story. The kids really enjoyed it and got a chance to participate.
A great way to finish off the term by building Dens. The Children put to use the skills they have learnt during this terms Woodland Club activity.
After being postponed twice this term due to the poor weather the sun finally shone for the Inter-House Tag Rugby tournament. All the Children had great fun and performed well for their individual houses. Well done to St. David who were the winning house.
Yesterday saw the Annual Inter-House music competition. The four houses led by their prefects in Prep 6, put together a solo, Ensemble and a house song. It was a fabulous afternoon celebrating a musical extravaganza, involving all the Children from Prep Reception to Prep 6. The proud winners were St Andrew.
This term Prep 2 have been researching homes around the world, investigating how these homes are suited to the climate and environment they are situated. We used the iPads to aid our research, a fun and challenging task!
Prep 2 have been learning about electrical circuits this half term. This week they made a model incorporating circuits and a switch.
This week Prep Reception visited the Harbour Rise care home as part of the ongoing inter-generational project. The pupils worked alongside the residents making Easter decorations for a display. They also sang songs for the residents including happy birthday for a 97 year old lady.
This week the Children taking their LAMDA exams got the chance to practice them for their Parents and the School.
The children had a wonderful time sharing extracts from their books and describing their characters. We saw the range of characters and authors as we displayed them on our working wall. The children took ideas from one another on what to read next!
