This morning the Nursery started learning about Julia Donaldson books, starting with the Gruffalo. The children had great fun making pictures of the Gruffalo and then enjoyed signing along to the Gruffalo song.

This morning Mrs Cottell was delighted to present Tula with the St Christopher’s award, for her positive attitude in all that she does.
This morning was a proud morning for the parents as Mrs Cottell presented the Head Boy and Head Girl badges to Dylan and Isabelle. The house captains and prefects were also all presented with their badges. Prep 6 are looking forward to taking on the added responsibility and helping nurture the younger children in the school.
Today Prep 6 went to the beautiful Buckland Abbey to learn about life as a Tudor, and got the chance to dress up in authentic clothing.
Six ISA SW schools, making up eight teams in total, competed in the U11 SW ISA Tag Rugby Festival hosted by St Christopher’s. A delightful morning was enjoyed by Prep Reception at Dartington Gardens, where we explored the change of season. We had a nature treasure hunt and competitions for the biggest and smallest leaf. This morning was the Lower School Poetry Assembly. The theme was Friends and Family and all the children had learnt their words and delivered them confidently in front of the whole school and their parents. The Assembly finished with a play by Prep Reception and Prep 1 of Handa’s Surprise.
